bahaha

two interesting things have happened today.

1) another wedding notice.. aah!

2) i read my family's christmas card. apparently... i'm pursuing psychology with an emphasis on autism, speech.. and business.

mom and i have a debate every time i'm home where she tells me i should be a doctor, i say no (she doesn't understand that i cant just go and apply to med school without ANY prerequisites), she tells me i should be a lawyer, i say no ("you don't want to HELP people with DISABILITIES?!")... and then i tell her i'm taking econ just in case one day i needed some business skills to do something pysch related. and out of all of that... she hears (and proliferates) that i am now pursuing business.

i think i'm just going to let her live in fantasy... i hated econ. with a deep, burning passion. but if it makes her feel like i have some sort of ambition in life ... so be it. it's just funny how different our perception of our lives is from our parents'. funny, really.

today is grad school day. and today, i want to go to get my phd in clinical psychology. hmm. maybe not a good day for grad school day ;)
