so totally didn't get the memo, but colbert is in charleston tonight.
wade and i might go stalk him after his sold out show. sounds like fun, no?
i'm having a productive few days -- catching up on delta stuff, finished christmas shopping today.. new cell phone :).. now its just time to finish painting christmas presents and addressing thank you notes.
people keep sending references for tridelt.. and its making it really hard to get on top of stuff. we're just finally getting all the lists up to date, and i'm getting crazy numbers of emails from alumns. its nuts!
i'm getting kind of excited about christmas. i just haven't been into it this year.. i think a big part has been the spiritual stuff. but i've started reading every night, which has really helped. and i've made little goals, you know? those help, too.
i really want to sit down and talk to a priest.. its just so crazy right now with being in charleston, and i'm kind of torn between talking to my old spiritual director here or trying to find someone closer to school. it's just hard to find people whose spiritualities match your own, you know? caitlyn and i were talking about it the other day in terms of relationships -- i know that i surround myself with people who have spiritualities similar to my own (i'm a dominican at heart, always have been)... our hearts are all "ordered," if you will.
to contemplate and to give to others the fruit of our contemplation
yep, that's me.
oh, i'm a nerd. i'm going to go wrap presents now :)
