scene: kelly and i are stuck at the eco cottage and o-staff forgets us and heads for j in the caravan. we need a ride, so we run out to the road and throw up our hitch hiking thumbs. we hear SCREACHING tires of a 4runner and a car starts flying in reverse.
guy i don't recognize: "hey, do y'all need a ride?"
us: "um, that would be amazing.. but i think they might come back?"
guy: "dude, they totally just flew by. all of them."
(uperclassmen find oweek amusing. they come to watch us do cheesy skits and chase freshies around campus, so they know all about hall parties)
us: "wellll..."
guy: "WAIT! you're KELLY! you're a KAPPA! ... and you're BRIDGETTE, right?? you're Catholic! I'm Catholic!"
and our Catholic friend gave us a ride to J. i'm still not sure how he knows i'm catholic. i know his roommate.. he's on staff.. but it was just probably one of the funniest situations ever.
