i can't believe how busy the last few weeks have been. let alone the last few days... i feel like since i've recovered from the wisdom teeth ordeal, i've been going a hundred miles per hour. but it's been fantastic... and once o-week is through, i'll be able to relax a little bit. a little bit.
o-week starts tomorrow... getting up at 6:30 am to get ready to help the freshies move in, then it's a day of skit practices and parent meetings and so on and so forth.. and the week goes from there! it's going to be fantastic :)
the roomies are all now moved in, too.. which is wonderful, because i have a home to come back to. it's the best feeling in the world.. knowing that i get to spend the year living with three of my best girlfriends. they're my fam away from the fam, and i love it. absolutely love it.
you know what? i'm happy. i'm head-over-heels, deeply, incredibly happy. that kind of happy that creeps its way into your chest and warms you from the inside out... that gives you goosebumps when you think about it and a heartache when you don't. the kind where even sappy stupid country songs can't really get it right. when garth can't say it, you know you're somewhere good. really good.
