so i need to go to the tooth surgeon... because i think i definately have dry socket. the second i lie down, i get this insane pain shooting from my bottom socket to my ear... it kept me up from the time i tried to go to bed at 3:30 until 4:30ish. and then the dog had to go out. so i didn't get a lot of sleep.
anyways, i'm currently trying to schedule an appointment, but being carless, i am completely dependent on my mother. key to that whole deal is mother answering her phone. but she won't answer.. and i'm running out of pain meds, which is the only thing keeping me from crying. and i'd like to stop taking them because they scare me. i don't like things with this much control over my body. and i leave for school in less than 48 hours.. so i'd rather not take the chance of needing to do something else before i leave. and it really, really hurts.
so that's my first to-do list thing today. worst case scenario, i run out of antibiotics and have an appointment first thing in the morning. and i drive there in my CAR! which i'm getting at 7pm tonight. i'm beside myself with excitement.
funny thing... al texted me and told me that we're going to have matching cars!!! i didn't realize it, but she got an infinity i30, too.. they're different years and different colors, but i find it hilarious that the roomsies have matching rides. we should get matching spinners on them, too. definately.
so i'm in a lovely mood today... just packing and such. but i finished my preliminary reference stuff.. which is HUGE... put together a packet about all of the changes tri-delta is undergoing in the fall, which will be helpful to present to the alumni advisors and vps. it's going to be a lot more work than i anticipated, but i'm excited. i love the opportunity to really make a difference in our chapter, you know? carpe diem :)
i'll be in greenville in less than 48 hours!!! i can't wait!!!
